I hear that this is ridiculously common during honours/doctoral theses. You find something that makes you change your mind, doubt yourself and generally rip your hair out (often right before a chapter deadline).

ohyeah. It’s basically been me (and almost everyone I know in my Honours group) for the last four months. I spend all my time flip flopping between different core topics and never making definite decisions on things and it’d be hilarious if it wasn’t so never wracking.
